The "Damen vals" theatre performance is constructed starting from D.R. Popescu's monodrama - The dream or Damen vals and reveals itself in front of the audience, during 64 minutes, as an explosion of life - with joy, sadness, wonder, outbursts, tender remembrances or cynical and hard ascertainments of a woman's' present. It does it lack moments charged with oneiric significance, nor comical ones or those of subtle slipping into the abyss of a mind that wants to escape the day to day torment of tiresome work. It is the simple story of an ordinary woman that, in a moment of hardship, discovers that she has lived her life for others, to help those around her and has forgotten to live, love, dream. It is the moment when Silvia affirms her right to release herself, to decide her own life, thirstily and desperately detaching from all responsibilities that she has put on her own shoulders throughout her life. From now on, she decides to leave, to be free and happy. Will Silvia be able to fulfil this wish? "Damen vals" reveals the answer...
