The Master and Margarita is an adaptation after the homonymous novel of the Russian writer Mikhail Bulgakov. Considered one of the most important works of the 20th century, the novelist's masterpiece is dealing with the theme of eternal battle between good and evil, but also free will through a fascinating love story that takes place in a surreal landscape of the Soviet Union. The Sibiu staging is an adaptation that combines video projections with live musical moments while the decoration idea finds its inspiration in an old Armenian church discovered by the director in Poland.
