Happy Birthday, Silviu Purcărete! 50 years of theatrical activity

Director Silviu Purcărete, one of the most prestigious collaborators of the "Radu Stanca" National Theatre of Sibiu and the Sibiu International Theatre Festival, is the one who is celebrated today. He also celebrates 50 years of theatrical activity on the world's largest stages. We are delighted that Silviu Purcărete is the first director in the world to have three personalized performance spaces at the Factory of Culture in Sibiu, namely the "Lulu," "Faust," and "Metamorphoses" Halls, and the first important kabuki space dedicated center opened in the "Eugenio Barba" Hall. Together with the "Radu Stanca" National Theatre of Sibiu and the Sibiu International Theatre Festival, we pay tribute to all that the work of the great director Silviu Purcărete represents and look forward with joy and optimism to future projects with important partners from Europe, Japan, and from around the world.
