"Scandal behind the scenes" at the National Theatres Meeting in Chisinau

The "Radu Stanca" National Theatre in Sibiu participates in the National Theatres’ Meeting in Chisinau, Republic of Moldova, with the performance "Scandal behind the scenes" by Michael Frayn, directed by Andrei and Andreea Grosu. The performance is scheduled on September 18, 7 PM, at the Great Hall of the National Theatre "Mihai Eminescu" in Chisinau.
"After the 31st edition of the Sibiu International Theatre Festival, themed Friendship, lifelong friendship, we are heading to the National Theatres’ Meeting in Chisinau with this profound theme, which animates the relations we have developed over the years under the sign of a strategic partnership. We are guided by the respect we have for the audience in Chisinau, for Bessarabia and for all our friends who come to this great event every fall", says Constantin Chiriac, General Manager of the “Radu Stanca” National Theatre in Sibiu and President of the Sibiu International Theatre Festival.
From September 10-22, actors, creators, and managers from eight theatres in Romania and eight theatres in the Republic of Moldova, together with writers, directors, and performing art experts, invite the public to performances, conferences, book launches, radio auditions, exhibitions, meetings, and dialogues.
The 9th edition of the Romanian National Theatres’ Meeting in Chisinau will take place in 2024 under the theme "European Connections". The event is organized by the "Mihai Eminescu" National Theatre in Chisinau in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture of Romania and the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Moldova. For the fourth consecutive year, the event enjoys the High Patronage of the President of the Republic of Moldova, Maia Sandu, and the President of Romania, Klaus Iohannis. The event is supported by the Romanian Cultural Institute.
