On World Theatre Day, Digital Stage Offers the Public a Special Conference by Constantin Chiriac and Constantin Necula

Digital Stage—the online platform for theatre, film, music, circus, and dance of the Radu Stanca National Theatre Sibiu (TNRS) and the Sibiu International Theatre Festival (FITS)—is preparing a special surprise for audiences in April.

On the occasion of World Theatre Day, celebrated on March 27, culture lovers will be able to watch, exclusively on Digital Stage, the conference “Thank You!”—an emotional dialogue between Constantin Chiriac and Constantin Necula. This anniversary event is offered as a gift to the public and is inspired by the theme of this year’s Sibiu International Theatre Festival: “Thank You!”.

The conference will be available online starting March 27 and can be watched free of charge throughout the entire month of April.

“Dear spectators, on March 27, together with all of you, we celebrate World Theatre Day. This year, the message is delivered by Theodoros Terzopoulos, the great artist who received a star on the Sibiu Walk of Fame last year. We have such a deep need for beauty—for creation, joy, encounters, and for that great thank you spoken in all the languages of the world.
We are trying to say a big thank you to you, those who are our daily joy; to the artists we work with, who are the creators of this joy; to everyone who supports us in this beautiful madness—from families to technicians, producers, funders, and all those who, even if temporarily, make decisions but carry forward the spirit of communities. Tickets and Subscriptions on Digital Stage

On Digital Stage, monthly, quarterly, and annual subscriptions include over 80 available performances, with two new premiere productions added each month. Theatre, film, dance, and music enthusiasts can choose the 12-month subscription at the price of 6 months (299 RON) or the 3-month subscription at the price of 2 months (89 RON). The monthly subscription costs 49 RON per month. Viewers may also opt for an individual ticket, which allows access to a specific performance at the price of 30 RON. During the validity period of a subscription, performances can be watched anytime, anywhere, and as many times as desired. The individual ticket is available for four hours from activation and selection of the viewing time window.
