April premieres on Digital Stage bring audiences closer to the blend of tradition and innovation

April is a special time for Christians, a moment of reflection and joy. In this context, Digital Stage highlights performances rooted in the sacred space and in the power of poetic language, as a gift addressed to audiences everywhere.

Digital Stage, the online platform for theatre, film, music, circus, and dance created by the “Radu Stanca” National Theatre in Sibiu (TNRS) and the Sibiu International Theatre Festival (FITS), presents three new premieres in April, carefully selected to emphasize the diversity of artistic expression and the meeting point between tradition and innovation, between poetry, music, and contemporary performance.

The April premieres on Digital Stage are:

  1. “Games, Words, Crickets…”
The performance “Games, Words, Crickets…” is a reminder that we all need to dream, to play, and to search for that place at the end of the rainbow where only the joy of encountering the world’s great poetry matters. Under the direction of master Silviu Purcărete, and featuring Constantin Chiriac alongside TNRS actors, the performance offers a sensitive experience in which beauty and emotion naturally engage audiences of all ages.

  2. “Cantendi a Deus” – Elena Ledda & band
Elena Ledda, an iconic voice of Sardinia, presents “Cantendi a Deus” – a performance where traditional sacred music intertwines with contemporary sensibility, celebrating the strength and relevance of an authentic culture.

  3. “Organland” – Maria-Luisa Antal & Eduard Antal
Organland transforms the organ into a spectacular experience: four hands and four feet bring to life a dialogue between power and delicacy, tradition and innovation. A concert-event in the Evangelical Cathedral of Sibiu, where the past and the new generation meet in a vibrant sonic tribute.
