It is not by chance that it is called the International Society for the Performing Arts, where the members are the institutions and great personalities of the world. The fact that one of the most prestigious awards goes to the Sibiu International Theatre Festival and its leader is an unprecedented moment. Never before has anyone from this part of the world been on the board of this structure and received this award. It is a recognition of what the Festival means for Sibiu, for Romania, for Europe and for the whole world. In ISPA's motivation for awarding the award, it is mentioned precisely this recognition of the strength, of the international impact in the area of creation, of the miracle, of the connections and diversity and the dialogue between culture, education, research and what our important target means - the audience.", declared Constantin Chiriac
Constantin Chiriac is in the United States of America from January 8-14, 2024, where he is participating in the annual Congress of the International Society for Performing Arts (ISPA).
